Happy New Year!
A touch late, yes, but Happy New Year nevertheless!
I'm on tour at the moment which means I have a lot of time to snoop around the internet for new music. I have a new artist obsession right now and her name is Lykke Li. She's fucking brilliant! I just spent an hour watching random videos of hers and I'm very impressed. While she may not have a powerhouse voice it is still an interesting instrument and she uses it to her advantage. Here's are some of my favorites:

Ellie Goulding
I have a cold. Ugh. It sucks balls, people, it sucks gross old balls.
I've been treating myself with oatmeal, coffee, lots of water, and dayquil. And while resting up in bed I've also been sending out bunches of emails to clubs, bars and such to get some performances lined up. I'm so excited to perform again :) I'll keep you all posted on any future performance dates. They're coming up!
Here's a video by a lovely British girl named Ellie Goulding. I discovered her awhile ago when I downloaded a song she did with Frankmusik called "Wish I Stayed" which I fell in love with. I recently found this video of her singing Elton John's "Your Song" and it's really British and lovely. Enjoy...
And here's the acoustic version of "Wish I Stayed"...
The version I know is really dancey (which I obviously love) but this one is equally great.
